Rani Mukherjee starrer Hichki has passed its second weekend with good note despite having the newly released film Baaghi 2 in the opposite.Rani Mukerji,who was away from the movie for a while, now once again she is back on the big screen with her latest film ‘Hichki.
With the very good story line and a nice performance by the leading actress Rani Mukerji, the film received positive reviews from audience as well as critics.
Hichki being a non masala flick took a very good start,the film registered the business of 26.10 crores in the opening week, that included 15.35 crores of the weekend and 10.75 crores of weekdays from the 961 screens across the country.
Directed by Sidharth P Malhotra, Rani Mukerji starrer Hichki is an adaptation of the book Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had by Brad Cohen.
Now the film is running in its second week and showed a nice performance in the second weekend also.It did the business of 2.40 crores on 2nd Friday and 2.60 crores on 2nd Saturday.
After on 2nd Sunday, Hichki witnessed further growth in income and due to a public holiday the film collected the amount of 2.75 crores.With this, its 10 days total collection has become 33.85 crores at the domestic box office.The film got succeed to impress viewers and with strong content and getting positive word of mouth.
