Jacqueline Fernandez, who has been shooting for high-intensity action sequences for her upcoming film Race 3 in Abu Dhabi.
Producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed the news and told IANS, “Yes, it was a minor injury. Jacqueline is hurt above the eye while playing squash. She is better now and has resumed shooting.”
Then The actor was administered primary treatment and, thereafter, she returned to the sets to complete the scheduled shoot.The actress took to her Instagram story to thank her well-wishers for the ‘get well soon’ messages and said,
“Thank you all for your ‘get well soon’ wishes, really means a lot. I did kinda injure my right eye and I have to do an entire climax scene in sunglasses now, so don’t be shocked.”
Few days ago Salman Khan unveiled Jacqueline’s look in Race 3 and promised that she is all “raw power” in the film.According to an IANS report, Jacqueline has been filming action sequences in Abu Dhabi for a week now. The scenes reportedly demand the actress to perform a stylised action and Mix Martial Art techniques involving a lot of kicks and punches. She has been prepping for two hours daily to master her action moves.
Reports says that is that Hollywood action director Tom Struthers, who has worked in films like The Dark Knight and Inception, has been roped in for Race 3.
Apart from Salman and Jacqueline, Race 3 also cast Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. The film will hit the theatres on Eid 2018.
